In my opinion this is really a Patek Philippe watch you just don't see each day. Not sure if it really is still getting created, but this is really a Patek Philippe Ref. 5085 and is really stunning for what it is. You truly don't see a whole lot of Patek Philippe watches on metal bracelets aside from the sport themed Nautilus. This piece is extremely classic in style, and quite legible. The movement is constantly really pretty.
Interestingly sufficient there are at the least two forms of casebacks for this watch. Some have exhibition casebacks and some have solid metal casebacks using the Patek Philippe Calatrava Cross logo on it. Why two versions? I don't believe. Not confident if 1 is far more rare than the other.
Coming in a 37mm wide steel case, this is not a extremely big watch, but in line with the size of most Patek Philippe classic watches. I enjoy the extremely polished rounded steel bezel and very utilitarian feeling hands and hour markers. The hands have thin strips of lume while the hour markers are accompanied by lume squares. The black dial and although indicators make for a quite legible high contrast face.
Inside the watch can be a Patek Philippe 240 automatic movement using a solid gold micro-rotor. Enjoy the look of it, with typical beautiful Patek Philippe decoration. The asymmetrical dial layout is nonetheless visually balanced. The movement shows up in several other Patek Philippe watch and has the time, date, moon phase, subsidiary seconds dial, plus a power reserve indicator. Patek Philippe has other movements that feature exactly the same data in a a lot more symmetrical manner. So it's truly all concerning the visual style that you prefer.
For me this Patek Philippe watch is distinct sufficient to be intriguing. It isn't a youthful watch, but it is not stuffy either. The man who wears this piece is critical but not boring. In steel, the watch also has a quite humble essence, but is still a luxury timepiece becoming a Patek Philippe and getting an nearly jewelry style bracelet to it.
