As Ernest Borel celebrates its 155th anniversary this year, it pulls out every one of the stops in item and service - offering buyers Swiss watchmaking at value-oriented prices. The brand is steeped in rich Swiss watchmaking tradition (it was founded in 1856 by Jules Borel and Paul Courvoisier) and using the current establishment of Ernest Borel USA, comes back for the United states right after a 30-year respite.
"We are excited to become right here in the U.S. market yet again, where we bring an excellent item below the designing philosophy of pursuing consistent perfection and offering very good value," says Thomas Huggler, enterprise growth manager of Ernest Borel USA.
The collection retails from $650 to $2,500, with the core in the company currently being inside the $1,300 to $1,500 assortment for thin automatics and chronometers. Among the newest pieces, unveiled at BaselWorld and creating their way in to the U.S. market place now, are important anniversary watches and special models.
"We have constantly had a strong reputation of offering great item and selection, and excellent consumer service and we will continue this," says Huggler, who notes that one of the excellent assets in the Ernest Borel line is that retailers can pick exactly which item and how much of it they need to carry-so they can easily sate their clientele's needs.
